Shipping and Delivery

At AREA TRAILER SALES, INC., getting the trailer to you matters as much as the trailer itself. Shipping is conducted by us, and we deliver nationwide.

Nationwide delivery

We deliver across the United States from our Selbyville, Delaware location — job sites, farms, homes and commercial yards alike. When you choose delivery at checkout, the delivery cost is calculated and added to your order total before you pay, so the total you approve is the total you owe. Nothing is added after checkout.

Processing and delivery times

  • Order processing: orders are verified and processed within 1–2 business days after our accounting team confirms payment.
  • Delivery: typically 3–5 business days nationwide after processing.
  • If anything prevents us from delivering inside that window — weather, carrier disruption, access issues — we communicate it to you straight away, so everyone is aware of the situation and the revised timing.

Delivery is scheduled with you in advance; a trailer is never dropped unannounced.

Payment before dispatch

Delivery is conducted after your payment has been processed and confirmed by our accounting team. Card payments confirm quickly; wire transfers are confirmed on receipt — see the Payment policy. Your unit remains reserved for you the entire time.

Preparing your site

To make the handover safe and quick, please have ready:

  • Access: enough clearance and turning room for a truck-and-trailer combination to enter and leave.
  • Ground: a firm, reasonably level spot where the trailer can be set down and left on its jack.
  • A person: you or someone you authorize present to inspect and sign. Bring government photo ID matching the order.

If access is restricted — narrow lanes, soft ground, gated sites — tell us in the order notes so the driver arrives prepared.

At handover

Walk the trailer with the driver: confirm the VIN or stock number matches your order, check the gate or doors, lights and coupler, and note anything unexpected before signing. Report any discrepancy to sales@trailvant.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will put it right under Our Guarantee.
