Cargo Trailers

77 in stock · of 80 total

Enclosed cargo trailers keep tools, materials and freight locked and dry. Our stock runs from 4- and 5-foot-wide single-axle boxes to tandem-axle 7- and 8.5-foot-wide units with ramp doors, side doors and contractor packages, plus a few gooseneck boxes. Filter by length, GVWR and door type; every listing shows GVWR, empty weight and payload where the manufacturer states them.

Cargo Trailers: common questions

Ramp door or barn doors?

A ramp door lets you roll equipment, carts and mowers straight in. Barn (double) doors open flat against the sides and suit forklift loading or tight loading docks. Many units list which they have under Rear access.

How much can a 7x16 cargo trailer carry?

It depends on the unit's GVWR and empty weight. A typical tandem-axle 7x16 at 7,000 lb GVWR with about 2,600 lb empty weight leaves roughly 4,400 lb of payload — always read the figures on the specific listing rather than assuming.

Do I need trailer brakes?

Most tandem-axle enclosed trailers are built with electric brakes on at least one axle, and many states require brakes above a certain trailer weight. Check the Brakes row in the spec table and your state's rules.

Can I pick up the trailer myself?

Yes — pickup is by appointment at our Selbyville, Delaware location. Bring a tow vehicle with the right ball size (usually 2" or 2-5/16") and a working light connector.
